For new quilters, as well as those familiar with the basics, this class will take you from the very first stages of quilt-making to the last stitch of your quilt. If you are new to quilting, we’ll start with help in choosing a quilt design and the fabrics to make it sing. Kathy will help you achieve a true quarter inch seam as you piece all your blocks, and then you’ll learn how to measure and add borders, layer the quilt sandwich, baste, do basic machine quilting and (for the grand finale!) add the binding. You may choose from an Irish Chain or a Basketweave for your quilt design. If you have previously made a beginner quilt, you may choose one of the same quilt designs or another project of your choice
