This two (2) day class is the FIRST in a series of three workshops.

In this workshop you will take your chosen pattern: Melodic Swan, the Tuscan Landscape or the Hot Poppy and will learn how to create templates from the pattern and then make an art quilt top with the use of fabrics as an expressive medium. Emphasis will be on machine appliqué, focusing on the “turned-edge” or the “raw-edge” techniques. The pattern will be provided by the instructor, along with stabilizer and vinyl of choice used in the process ($10.00 for the kit payable to the instructor).
